Zeta-Jones is 'Mostly Martha'
Rom-com draws in Catherine.
Variety is reporting that Catherine Zeta-Jones will star in the American remake of romantic comedy-drama Mostly Martha for Castle Rock Entertainment, with Scott Hicks (Shine) set to direct.
The film will be co-financed by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures and will be written and directed by Sandra Nettlebeck.
The film centers on an obsessive and controlling chef whose solitary life is turned upside down when she assumes guardianship of her young niece and a new cook arrives at the restaurant where she works.
The title of the picture leads me to believe there is going to be a little bit of Martha Stewart mixed in to the recipe, but I have to wonder whether or not it will come with a stay-at-home ankle bracelet… Probably not.
Zeta-Jones will next be seen in The Legend of Zorro, releasing on October 28th.
