Zeta-Jones Falls into 'Ivy'
Sexy star readies for book adaptation.
With Ocean's Twelve in the bag Catherine Zeta-Jones is reteaming with Twelve producer Jerry Weintraub on an upcoming adaptation of the Karen Quinn novel called The Ivy Chronicles.
The yet-to-be-released novel concerns a Wall Street executive (Zeta-Jones) who, after being fired from her job finds her husband in bed with another woman. Desperate to start over and reinvent herself, she starts a "kindergarten referral" business that helps wealthy Manhattanites place their children in the most competitive and prestigious (a.k.a. uptight) preschools.
The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. and the book is set to hit store shleves in February by Viking Books.
