Zellweger Takes on 'Potter'
Renee and Ewan teaming again.
Renée Zellweger and Ewan McGregor teamed together only a couple of years ago in the Fox comedy Down With Love and while that film didn't exactly spell box-office success it doesn't matter much to David Kirschner Prods. and Phoenix Pictures as they have set the two up to star in Miss Potter, biopic about Beatrix Potter, on top of that Babe director Chris Noonan is set to helm.
Richard Maltby Jr. wrote the script for the film that will explore the life of the author of such beloved children's books as "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" and her struggle for independence in Victorian England. The film is expected to be primarily live-action but will dip into the Mary Poppins bucket o' tricks and will have some animated elements.
