Director Zack Snyder has gone ahead and revealed the first look at five of the characters from his comic adaptation Watchmen as we are now officially one year away from the film's release on March 6, 2009.
The pics below are of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian, Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl, Matthew Goode as Ozymandias, Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach and Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre. You can click any of the pics or right here for much larger looks. Oh, and the official images don't have the comic comparisons, I added those.

Heck, I loved the pictures so much, I put them as my desktop background AND shared them on facebook….. hmmm, I'm not sure if that makes me overly excited and wrought with anticipation, or just straight up geeky…B-)
