Xerxes Falls into the 'Black Oasis'
Santoro joining McGowan
Those of you that saw 300 will recognize Rodrigo Santoro as the Persian ruler Xerxes, btu for his next role don't expect the fully shaved body as he is set to star alongside Robert Rodriguez's love child Rose McGowan in Black Oasis.
Stephan Elliot (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) penned the script and will direct the film which chronicles the life of troubled starlet Susan Chabot, a favorite of the B-movie circuit who was bludgeoned to death by her son. Santoro will play Chabot's husband.
Santoro can currently be seen on ABC's "Lost".
