Wood is 'In Bloom'
Evan Rachel set to join Thurman
Anyone out there wondering what Vadim Perelman has been doing since House of Sand and Fog? No? No one? Well, after his name dropped off a feature film adaptation of Stephen King's "Talisman" his name wasn't exactly being batted around too much, but his name popped up again as he is directing a thriller called In Bloom with Uma Thurman and Evan Rachel Wood.
The picture finds Wood plaing a younger version of Thurman's character, Diana, a teenager who witnesses a high school shooting. Fifteen years later, unable to recover from her survivor's guilt, her grip on reality begins to break, leading the adult Diana (Thurman) to face a shocking truth.
The picture is expected to begin filming on August 14.
