Woo and Chang Spy DUMMIES Line
Popular self-help books to get feature film treatment...
John Woo and Terence Chang's Lion Rock Prods. are prepared to bring a "For Dummies" book to life as they will create an action comedy title Espionage for Dummies to the big screen.
The film is expected to center around a high school vice principal who is forced to rely on the "Espionage for Dummies" manual when his identity becomes crossed with that of a U.S. superspy. Armed only with the superspy version of the manual, he must try to save the world.
While I like John Woo, and his flair for action and explosions I don't think comedy is his thing, unless you count Ben Affleck's Paycheck, which was unintentionally hilarious.
