Wives Cast for Stone's 9/11 Pic
Bello and Gyllenhaal set for depression.
Variety is reporting that Paramount has set Maggie Gyllenhaal and Maria Bello as the female leads in Oliver Stone's upcoming untitled feature on the tragedy that struck New York on September 11, 2001.
The two lovely ladies will portray the wives of Port Authority officers rescued from the World Trade Center as the film is expected to begin shooting in New York this fall.
Variety goes on to mention that Gyllenhaal and Bello read for the parts last week and have already met with their real-life counterparts.
Bello and Gyllenhaal will find themselves opposite Nicolas Cage and Michael Pena as the already announced male leads in the film.
