Winterbottom Scores GOAL!
Michael Winterbottom, who is also directing Code 46 for MGM starring Tim Robbins, has come aboard to direct the first film in a soccer trilogy titled Goal!.
The trilogy of movies is an underdog story about a young Hispanic soccer player, set to be played by Diego Luna, from Los Angeles pursuing a dream of global soccer stardom.
