Will Smith Gains 'Seven Pounds'
New drama as Smith reunites with Happyness helmer
Will Smith is set to reunite with his Pursuit of Happyness director Gabriele Muccino as the two are set to bring the drama Seven Pounds to the big screen.
The story centers on a man who inadvertently falls in love while attempting to kill himself. Grant Nieporte wrote the screenplay.
Production is scheduled to begin in February for a late 2008 release with Columbia Pictures expected to be distributer.
Smith will next be seen in I Am Legend followed by the Peter Berg directed superhero flick Hancock.
