Okay, this has caught me completely off guard, but David "Shallow End" Frank just sent me a link to a video where Will Ferrell name checks RopeofSilicon. Of course, as is often the case when the site is linked to or mentioned, he pronounces it as Ropes of Silicon, but hey I own that URL too so no sweat, just pretty cool if you ask me and the vid itself is pretty funny to boot, and not safe for work if you are watching this from your cube.
