Will Crowe Ever Play Opposite Kidman?
Looks like the possibility is dwindling.
For the past two years we have followed news of a Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman feature film, and for the second time in two years it all falls down as Russell Crowe has apparently left the produciton of the untitled Baz Luhrmann epic in which he was set to star opposite Kidman. Crowe's departure apparently comes after he reportedly had disagreements with the studio (20th Century Fox).
Last year Kidman and Crowe were set to star in another Australian made picture, Eucalyptus, directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse for Fox and that film crumbled to the ground over creative differences.
Apparently Kidman and Luhrmann are still attached to the picture, but it is unlikely Crowe will return.
However, for you Russell Crowe fans, there is no fear as he is set to star opposite Denzel Washington in the Ridley Scott helmed feature American Gangster, a film I would much rather sit through than another Nicole Kidman drama.
