'Wild Things' Banners, 'The Ring 3D,' Megan Fox Slams Continue and More
Is Megan's mouth going to end her chances in Hollywood?
Warner Bros. sent over four new character posters for Where the Wild Things Are. You can check out the small versions above or click here to view the larger versions in the gallery.
I'm sure most of you read the comments Megan Fox made about her Transformers director, Michael Bay, comparing him to Hitler. Well, some of Bay's crew members sent in a letter to the director's official site, which was reprinted, leading me to believe he has given the comments a thumbs up. Here's a snippet:
We've had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both Transformers movies," the letter says early on. [Note: the grammar ansd phraseology are weak so I've cleaned up certain portions.] "We [work] in different departments, and can't give our names because sadly doing so in Hollywood could lead to being banished from future Paramount work. One of us touches Megan's panties, another has the often shitty job of pulling Ms. Sourpants out of her trailer, and the last of us is near the Panaflex camera that helps to memorialize the valley girl on film.

Speaking of Megan Fox, she also recently decided it was worth her while to take a shot at Diablo Cody's script for the recently unveiled Jennifer's Body as The Playlist quotes her saying, "There are days (on set) when I said 'What the fuck does that mean?' I'd say to [director] Karyn [Kusama] 'What does that mean?' And she'd say, 'I don't know, but let's shoot it anyway.'" The "let's shoot it anyway" approach comes as a result of word they were not allowed to deviate from Cody's script, to which The Playlist also says is 100% true after seeing the film and reading the script. However, such a tactic didn't win the film any fans after its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival where it didn't receive a warm welcome and occasionally a savage response. I'm seeing the film on Monday… anxious to form my own opinion.

Just Jared has posted a batch of shots from the set of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps with pics featuring stars Frank Langella and Shia LaBeouf along with director Oliver Stone. One is teased directly above and you can view the complete group here.
Via Twitter, director Wes Craven posts, "Just saw the studio's new trailer for 25/8… it rocks! Think STAND BY ME with knives!" 25/8 is Craven's next thriller for Rogue Pictures starring Max Thieriot, Shareeka Epps and Denzel Whitaker.
Bloody Disgusting is reporting there is "talk" of a third film in The Ring franchise with the potential it would be shot in 3-D.
BlackFilm.com is reporting District 9 star Sharlto Copley has been offered the role of Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock in Joe Carnahan's The A-Team. Should this be true I would expect the official announcement any day now as shooting already underway in Vancouver, Canada with the recent news UFC Fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has officially signed on as B.A. Baracus, the role originated by Mr. T in the television original.
The trailer for Michael Jackson's This is It will debut at Sunday's (9/13) MTV Video Music Awards.
Rumor has it there will be a gay wedding in Sex and the City 2 with Liza Minnelli showing up to sing at the nuptials. The Los Angeles Times reports from Life & Style saying, "All signs point to a gay union between Stanford and Anthony Marentino, who’s required to wear a black tuxedo in the scene."
On the way is Resident Evil 4: Afterlife, but Bloody Disgusting reports Screen Gems is planning a quasi-reboot as the fifth film in the franchise, which is tentatively titled Resident Evil Begins. Apparently the idea is to redo the story of a special military unit who fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident.
David Gordon Green is apparently getting ready to finally shoot Suspiria, a remake of the Dario Argento cult-horror classic with expectations to being shooting in 2010. [Variety]
Continuing on the horror bend, Ehren Kruger is set to pen a remake of Stephen King's "Children of the Corn," which was first adapted for the big screen in 1984. Also, My Bloody Valentine 3D director Patrick Lussier has been brought aboard to write and direct Halloween 3D. [Fangoria / Variety]

hate to admit it but the new "New Moon" trailer was pretty interesting, I mean it spoiled a lot of stuff from the book, but it wasn't bad. However, like Twilight, it seems a lot of people are going to be tricked into thinking this is some vampire action flick.
Honestly, Megan Fox's comments are one of the few things things I admire about her. Why shouldn't she be honest in interviews? Does she owe Bay anything more than letting him exploit her image as thoroughly as possible to make some cash at the box office? Michael Bay's Transformers *are* nonsensical garbage, and Diablo Cody's dialog *does* try too hard to be too hip for the room. And really, admitting that you didn't get all the obscure references in a script is hardly a particularly nasty attack on the writer.
As for the authors of that letter, I'm thinking with the collective intelligence they display with their writing, maybe they want to be a bit more careful about the insults they throw around.
No way. That just CAN'T be Twilight. It looks too awesome to be Twilight. Twilight sucks. This trailer shockingly doesn't. This has lots of action. Twilight is a romance movie. Seriously, if they took the guy who plays Cedric the dead guy in HP and said his name was Tom Ward, I thought that this could have been a movie of Last Apprentice.
I have teenage sons and I'll say without reservation that Megan Fox is more important to the Transformers franchise than Michael Bay. Suit up Jon Favreau for the next installment and you'll probably have a better picture AND Megan Fox. She may not be Miss Congeniality but she delivers what the fans want.
If Megan Fox doesn't want Michael Bay to treat her like a porno star, then she shouldn't make a movie called "Jennifers Body" where she is completly naked.
I have to admit the Wall Street 2 makes me almost want to laugh at anybody who hates Shia LeBeaouf because he's in every movie/sequel.
The Resident Evil Begins thing really sounds false, though you never know. After the money they've made off the first three (the third the most), why would they try to reboot it? Isn't rebooting something invented to ressurect a dead franchise?
