White Will Write for Black and Wright
Nice grammer huh?
Thanks to Variety we learn that Jack Black and his biz bud Mike White have acquired the rights to Jon Ronsoon's book "Them." The story will be used as the inspiration and basis for Mike White as he adapts the script for director Edgar Wright to helm.
The book is an exploration of extremists, and is described as a conspiracy comedy about one woman's journey to unmask the secret rulers of the world. White and Wright are using elements of it to hatch the story White will write. Damn you gott alove how you can't say that three times fast.
Wright recently helmed the sleeper comedy/horror Shaun of the Dead and White last scripted and was featured in the Jack Black comedy School of Rock. White and Black are teaming together once again in the White scripted comedy Nacho Libre in which Black stars as a priest who moonlights as a wrestler to save an orphanage.
