When George W. Met Laura W.
A clip from Oliver Stone's upcoming Bush biopic
CNN has got to be loving this, a movie they get to promote as Lionsgate has offered the cable news website an exclusive look at W. featuring a scene in which George W. Bush (Josh Brolin) and Laura Welch (Elizabeth Banks) meet for the first time.
The clip plays well and it is a safe clip to release seeing how it doesn't insinuate any kind of buffoonery on the part of Bush. It's just a couple of folks meeting each other and gives folks a chance to see how Brolin is going to portray our currently sitting President. Actually, based on everything shown so far most of what has been shown has been rather safe with just some words on the outdoor posters such as "misunderestimated" alluding to what the film is actually all about.
The flick comes out on October 17, but you can watch it now.
