Cinematical has up the poster for the upcoming Gavin Hood flick called Rendition starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon, Alan Arkin and Meryl Streep, all of which are featured prominently on the new one sheet. However, it was the snazzy little quote that caught my attention.
What if Someone You Love… Just Disappeared?
Gotta admit, that would be the shits, but does it really do much to sell this movie? I can almost hear the cheesy trailer guy voice over while I read it.
Silly poster tagline aside, I think this movie looks great, and for some reason I continue to get it mixed up with Focus' Reservation Road, which happens to also be coming out on October 19 even though Cinematical has October 12 listed for some reason.
