What a 'Halo' Movie Might Look Like
Oddsmakers: Chances Halo ever gets made...
I have never played Halo and am considering taking on Halo 3 when it hits on September 25th, but I have seen and heard enough about the game from people that have played it and know the story, that it might not make all that great of a movie. Of course, this is not my official position since I have hardly paid attention to the game, but from what I can tell it doesn't really seem to have all that much of a story to it.
I say all this just as an introduction to what has just been found online, a rough cut of a Halo short shot by Neill Blomkamp, the fella that was brought on to do the film before it was eventually scrapped. The video below is an obvious bootleg and I am not sure if it will be removed or will actually stay online to gauge reaction and people's interest. However, if you get a chance, check it out and see what you think about a possible Halo movie eventually being made. They certainly are trying to maintain interest.
