'Wedding' Pair Back Together
Vaughn and Dobkin meet 'Fred Claus'
While some people may get excited over the fact that Vince Vaughn and his Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin are teaming together once again, you have to remember that neither one of them wrote Wedding Crashers. Nevertheless, the two are back together in a holiday comedy this time called Fred Claus for Warner Bros.
The comedy revolves around Santa's black-sheep brother, who heads back to the North Pole and gets a chance to redeem himself. The script was written by Dan Fogelman and comes on the heels of Dobkin relieving himself of directorial duties on the Universal comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, which will star Adam Sandler and Kevin James.
The Variety article seems positive this will be Dobkin's next.
