Weaving On for 'Eucalyptus'

In an article over at The Sydney Morning Herald word has come out that Hugo Weaving of Matrix and Lord of the Rings acclaim has joined Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe on the $18 million Fox Searchlight production Eucalyptus.
The film is set to get underway in February for a 2006 release.
Eucalyptus is based on a popular fable following a story-telling stranger (Crowe) as he looks to wed the beautiful Ellen. But first he must pass her father's test and name every variety of eucalyptus tree he's planted on his property in western New South Wales.
