Watch the Red Band Trailer for 'Let Me In'
Marketing has really picked up for this film
Overture has debuted the red band trailer for Let Me In on the site's official Facebook page giving folks a look at the film that reportedly played at Comic Con last week. They've also sent over the new image you see directly above.
Let Me In stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz and centers on Owen (Smit-McPhee), an alienated 12-year-old boy who befriends Abby (Moretz), a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood. It's based on John Ajvide Lindqvist's best-selling Swedish novel, which received an adaptation in its native tongue in 2008.

Let Me In hits theaters on October 1.

Seems like this trailer amps up the horror angle a bit too much. Some slick new EFX were in evidence as well as some heavy handed plot exposition. Guess they felt the need to "dumb it down" for the average audience.
To me, it doesn't look that scary
I'm going to remain optimistic about it and all, but they completely spoiled what should be a big plot point at the very end there.
