Watch Five Clips from 'The Road'
An early look at the bleak future
If you haven't read the reviews for John Hillcoat's The Road out of the Venice Film Festival you will see they are primarily positive, but more importantly they all seem to agree the film sticks close to Cormac McCarthy's beloved, best-selling and Pulitzer Prize winning novel. Viggo Mortensen stars in the post-apocalyptic tale as a father (Mortensen) and his young son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) venture across a barren landscape that was blasted by an unnamed cataclysm that destroyed civilization and most life on earth.
Here are the links to the reviews if you would like to check them out and just below that the five clips. If you haven't seen the trailer yet you can click here for that and I have a gallery of six images right here.

Man!! this is so tempting, but it will surely spoil the atmosphere for me. Would rather wait for the whole theater experience.
Wow. Thanks Brad. I'm not a patient enough man to wait on this movie. I appreciate the sneak peek. Some moving stuff here. That last video is the only one that doesn't seem exactly from the book there. It has been a while since I read it but I remember that bit happening a little different.
This is not getting good press, Brad.
