TriStar has premiered the first trailer for the upcoming thriller The Call directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist) and starring Halle Berry.
The story is centered on Jordan (Berry), a 911 operator who takes a call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted. Other stuff happens and it gets all thrilling after that. Along with Berry and Breslin, the film co-stars Michael Eklund, Morris Chestnut and Michael Imperioli and is set to hit theaters on March 15.

WWE Studios doing the smart thing with these films by not having their wrestlers in lead roles... Half the time they're not even getting mentioned. First Dead Man Down and now this one, smart.
Saw this trailer when I went to watch ZDT last night, looks good.
I saw it to but had the opposite feeling. The film looks horrible and it gives away the whole story. So much for that Oscar Halle.
Thats how you get people to get out and see it ! So I Think shell still be getting an oscar !

yea looks terrible. hollywood is running out of ideas. i feel like there making this movie look so much more suspenseful than it should. almost positive this will be a failure.
This looks decent but are we ever going to see Halle in another Oscar-caliber role? Damn it, I like her as an actress (and person of course) but I want more from her than the Cloud Atlas, X-Men, Perfect Stranger, etc of the world.
I had to watch this during my Gangster Squad screening and I couldn't believe that the trailer clearly gave away the films ending. That's a new low.

I think that this movie is a great come back for Halle. Her hair change really off sets the movie. It shows that she is not just going for sexy but focusing more on the movie. From the trailer it seems a good action feild movie,and that is what the theaters are lacking these days.
