Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. has acquired domestic rights to Kirsten Sheridan's fantastical love story August Rush, which looks to star youngster Freddie Highmore, Robin Williams and Liv Tyler, with production expected to begin in, get this… August. Wow, now that is just magical.

The film is set in Central Park and is the story of a boy who has lost his parents and embarks on a magical musical journey to be reunited with them. Highmore will play the boy, Tyler his mother and Williams the mysterious benefactor wizard. Hans Zimmer has been brought aboard to provide the music, which Variety mentions will play a central role in the film's storyline.
