Walken has 'Balls of Fury'
'Reno 911' creators ready ping-pong comedy.
I am ready for this one already. Christopher Walken as an evil crime lord who is also a ping-pong enthusiast? Sign me right the hell up!
I am not making this up. Variety brings us the story that "Reno 911" creators Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant have written a script called Balls of Fury and have brought aboard Christopher Walken and Dan Fogler.
The Variety description reads as:
Walken plays Fang, an evil crime lord who is also a pingpong enthusiast. Fogler, the Tony-winning star of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," plays a disgraced player enlisted by the CIA to join a tournament held in Fang's lair. Lennon plays the comeback kid's East German nemesis.
Garant will direct for Rogue Films with filming expected to begin in June.
