Viggo Has Visions of 'Teresa'
From "violence" to the mystics.
Viggo Mortensen is in negotiations to join the cast of Spanish language feature Teresa for novelist Ray Loriga to direct.
The feature is a "near-psychedelic vision of the raptures and writings of a towering figure, Spain proto-feminist mystic saint Teresa of Avila." The sexy Paz Vega who you may remember from James L. Brooks' Spanglish will be playing Teresa, Mortensen will play a cleric. Victoria Abril and Leonor Watling have also earned spots in the cast.
Filming is set to begin November 21 in Spain.
