Vaughn Set for Russell Comedy
Perfect match for new film.
Variety is reporting that Vince Vaughn is set to star in an untitled David O. Russell penned and directed comedy.
Russell the man behind such films as Three Kings and I Heart Huckabees will continue his outside of the box style in a film that will find Vaughn as the wiseass host of a radio call-in show whose life gets turned upside down when he starts becoming his callers.
Your guess is as good as mine where this one will go, but Russell is certainly a writer/director that can make something interesting.
Russell was quoted by Variety saying, "This ain't no 'Huckabees'; there is no question, this aims to be more accessible."
The film will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
