'Underworld 3' Trailer Roars Online
I am game for this one...
I know I am relatively alone in finding enjoyment in both of the first two Underworld films despite how bad they actually are. A mixture of Kate Beckinsale in tight leather, vampires and blue camera filters seem to be my thing. Taking that into consideration seeing how the first trailer for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (1/23) just debuted I am not at all surprised to find myself anxious to see it, despite it's January release date and the replacing of Beckinsale with Rhona Mitra. After all, she's hot too so what's the worry there?
The film is set to hit theaters on January 23 and is an origin story tracing the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Death Dealer army and his struggle for Lycan freedom.

Is that the Max Payne trailer music?
Doesn't look horrible. I'll give it a chance. The first two weren't bad. Hopefully this and Twilight will convince studios that it is time to make a good Vampire movie.. without the crappy effects….
It's the same music from the Max Payne trailer, but it's actually the song "If I Was Your Vampire" by Marilyn Manson.
I am the few who loved the 2nd, but thought the first was just ok. I just thought the action and effects in the first were a big let down. However the 2nd improved on bot those elements dramatically for me.
I will probably rent the third rather than spend mula on it in the theater. unless Brad says it's freakin good.
I was 13 (or so, 2003 right?) when the first dropped and I loved it. I don't remember much of the second except that I saw it in the theatres for a birthday party and remember my ass hurting. Whatever though, this one looks pretty solid. But yeah the Marilyn Manson song is over played officially.
I Loved the 1st one, and I thought the 2nd one was really good too. The thing I didnt like about the 2nd one was the setting, too much forest.(Even though I live where it was Filmed). This one doesnt look too bad, I like Rhona but she in No Kate Beckinsale.
Ah, a prequel.
Allright, since I really like the first one and allthough I wasn't too enthousiastic about the 2nd, I'll give it a try.
The whole underworld thing has a lot of potetial.
