Uma for Ulla in 'The Producers'… Maybe
Thurman moves from The Bride to The Secretary.
The New York Post is reporting that the sexy Uma Thurman has taken the role of Ulla, the Swedish secretary, the the upcoming remake of The Producers.
Apparently Nicole Kidman was the first choice but after she dropped out due to a knee injury Thurman was picked to fill the role.
The Producers is not only a long standing Broadway play it also achieved Oscar fame in 1969 for Original Screenplay. This time around Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane will be starring as filming is reported to be getting underway in February at Brooklyn's Steiner Studios.
This news should be taken with a grain of salt for the time being though as the Post was unable to officially confirm the Thurman tip.
