Triple Dose of 'Friday the 13th' Casting
What do you know? Three names I actually have in the database
So often these stupid little teen thrillers cast a bunch of no names that I ultimately have to add them to the database for a one-time only showing considering so many of them are never seen or heard from again, but this latest update from Bloody Disgusting gives us three names joining the new Friday the 13th, all of which I already had in the database. Yippee!
The names include Danielle Panabaker ( Sky High), Aaron Yoo (Disturbia) and Travis Van Winkle (Transformers). Yeah, it's not like they are A-List, but at least all three have been in films I have seen and can now say they are attached to more than just one film in the database.
These three join Jared Padalecki, Derek Mears and Amanda Righetti in the reboot which will be directed by Marcus Nispel and is set to hit theaters on February 13, 2009.
Mears will be donning the familiar Jason Voorhees mask as the new film hopes to focus more on Jason than did the original film, which was a horror centered on Voorhees' mother.
