Trio Step Aboard 'Poseidon Adventure'
Two big names and one sexy lady.
She took the world and the Oscars by storm as she starred in last year's remake for Warner Bros. The Phantom of the Opera and now Emmy Rossum finds herself cast alongside two fantastic leading men as Rossum, Kurt Russell and Richard Dreyfuss have all been cast in Wolfgang Petersen's The Poseidon Adventure for Warner Bros.
The film is a remake of the Oscar-winning 1972 classic that starred Gene Hackman as a priest who leads a small group of survivors to safety from the bowels of a capsized luxury liner. In this version the savior will be the character played by Kurt Russell, playing an ex-fireman and politico who is traveling with his daughter (Rossum) and her boyfriend (Mark Vogel). Dreyfuss will play a gay man who has just been dumped.

Warner's has already scheduled a release date for May 5, 2006.
