Trio Look to Join KING'S MEN
It looks like Columbia Pictures' remake of All the King's Men, which currently stars Sean Penn and Jude Law, is upping the ante as far as big names go as Meryl Streep, Mark Ruffalo and Kate Winslet are all in talks to join the cast with Steve Zaillian set to direct his own adaptation of Robert Penn Warren's novel.
The film is based on the life of late Louisiana Gov. Huey Long and would find Streep playing Sadie, an aide to Southern politician Willie Stark (Penn), while Law is set to appear as protagonist Jack Burden, a journalist who falls under Stark's spell.
