'Transformers 2' On the Move… Robots and Humans Oh My!
Casting details emerge as well as traffic stops
First off, we have SuperheroHype to thank for the two photos to follow as the Decepticon police car Barricade and Optimus Prime where both spotted being moved around in Culver City prompting fans to wonder if in fact production on Transformers 2 was getting underway. The second bit of news, which is more recent, comes from IESB who are saying:
[The] Decepticons will be getting some new help in the form of Constructicons. In the cartoons, their names were Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Hook and Long Haul. And what do we get when they all combine and form one huge ass robot? That’s right boys and girls, we are going to see DEVASTATOR on the big screen!"
What's Devastator? Well the pic to the right is a fan mock up from Rise Studio of the beast, click here for a larger look.
On top of that they have info on 11 of the human roles being cast in the film as well as a rumor via the Don Murphy message boards that Natassia Malthe has been cast in the film.
Currently the film is expected to get underway this year for a June 26, 2009 release.
