It takes more than torso removal to stop this Autobot

Okay, giving you the most recent news first, today we learn via MTV that Matthew Marsden, who was most recently seen as one of the mercenaries in Rambo will play play Graham in Transformers 2, a character who is part of the British Special Forces and will join Duhamel's Captain Lennox and Tyrese's Sergeant Epps in battling the Decepticons.

Next up we get new via Transformers 2 screenwriter, Roberto Orci, over on Don Murphy's message board saying:

I'd love and think we could almost barely manage ten on each side, with some front and center and others as more supporting.

So, with the news there may be 20 robots in TF2 we also learn via TFW2005.com that one of them may be Jazz.

If you don't remember from the first film he was torn in half by Megatron and tossed aside. You may also remember that he appeared to be the first robotic victim of The Brotha Rule, but I will leave that up to your speculation as I already stated my case.

And just when you thought that would be the end of the updates we learn via The Daily Pennsylvanian that filming is set to take place on the Penn University campus:

University spokeswoman Lori Doyle explained that filming would tentatively begin around June 12 with scenes using the exterior of the Quad.

According to Doyle, the extensive project is expected to involve about 200 people, 25 tractor-trailer trucks and cranes.

"They have their own landscaping people, they bring in their own catering, it's a huge operation," she said.

In addition, scenes will be shot at Psi Upsilon Tau fraternity house, better known as "The Castle," and possibly on Locust Walk and Spruce Street, Doyle said.

Finally, CHUD is the latest to run a boring photo from the Bethlehem, PA set.

Transformers 2 is apparently full steam ahead and is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2009.
