The Transformers movies serve no purpose other than entertainment for the same kind of people who like Nascar and monster truck rallies, which is not what film is supposed to be. So, sort of taken out of context. He didn't really come down on people until they came down on him. Not saying he was right, but he wasn't the first to start the browbeating.
