Four trailers recently landed online and I have finally had a chance to get them added to the site for your approval, or lack thereof.

Among the bunch, we have a second trailer for Dreamworks's Megamind and first looks at Rio, Love Ranch and Going the Distance. I have added each below along with bits of information and release dates for each.

Rio
April 8, 2011
Rio comes from Carlos Saldanha, co-director on all three Ice Age movies. The story follows the adventures of a nerdy macaw who lights out from his small-town Minnesota cage for the exotic Summer Olympic city of Rio de Janeiro. Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Rodrigo Santoro and George Lopez make up the principal voice cast.

Going the Distance
August 27, 2010
Going the Distance is an R-rated romantic comedy that earned a pretty strong rating from the MPAA citing sexual content including dialogue, language throughout, some drug use and brief nudity. The film stars Drew Barrymore and Justin Long as a young couple navigating their way through the perils of a long distance relationship. They will quickly discover that "going the distance" might cost them everything they have, including one another.

Love Ranch
June 30, 2010
In Love Ranch, Taylor Hackford (Ray) directs his wife, Helen Mirren, and Joe Pesci as Grace Bontempo and Charlie Bontempo, the husband and wife team who own and run Nevada's first legalized brothel. Scout Taylor-Compton, Bryan Cranston, Gina Gershon, Taryn Manning, Gil Birmingham, Bai Ling and M.C. Gainey also star.

Megamind
November 5, 2010
This is the second trailer for Megamind which centers on the title character, Megamind (voiced by Will Ferrell), the most brilliant supervillain the world has ever known. And the least successful. Over the years, he has tried to conquer Metro City in every imaginable way. Each attempt, a colossal failure thanks to the caped superhero known as Metro Man (Brad Pitt), an invincible hero until the day Megamind actually kills him in the throes of one of his botched evil plans. Tina Fey and Jonah Hill are also part of the voice cast.

Rio looks cool, and Blue Sky Studios are good at making films that are extremely agreeable. Look how all three of the Ice Age movies are good–even the 2nd, which is the weakest, is weaker simply because it's so low-key and not because it's actually bad or weak in storytelling/characters.

Going the Distance looks worth a rental, maybe, but I won't be seeing it at all unless the reviews are glowing. It just doesn't stand out enough from all the other relationship movies. At least it's R-rated.

Love Ranch I really want to see, especially after this trailer! Helen Mirren, directed by Taylor Hackford? Yes please!

Megamind… hmm. I'll probably end up doing without it (Will Ferrell REALLY turns me off), but if it gets good reviews, I might check it out.
