New Japanese Trailer and Poster for 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol'

Should you choose to accept it

One of the films I'm most looking forward to this December is Tom Cruise's return as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. As I continue to say and will always continue to say, I'm a big fan of Cruise and his films and the Mission features are up there at the top of the list in terms of Cruise's best action films.

That said, today we have a second Japanese trailer (via the film's Japanese official site) and a new Japanese poster (via Asahi), once again featuring Cruise atop Dubai's 2,717-foot high Burj Khalifa building.

If you missed the first Japanese trailer you can catch that here, but don't leave before checking out the poster below. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol hits limited IMAX theaters on December 16, ahead of its wide December 21 release.

Along with Cruise, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol co-stars Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Vladimir Mashkov, Michael Nyqvist, Josh Holloway, Simon Pegg, Lea Seydoux and Anil Kapoor as the IMF is shut down when it's implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and his rogue new team (Renner, Patton and Pegg) must go undercover to clear their organization's name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this. Brad Bird directs.
