Trailer for Duncan Jones' 'Source Code' Dials In
Can Jones impress the masses again?

Honestly, doesn't anyone do anything on Friday nights anymore? Having to take time in-between Happy Hour and my evening to post the new trailer for Duncan Jones' follow-up to Moon seems a bit much. Then again, Summit never has been the marketing geniuses you'd assume they were given the success of the Twilight franchise. By the way, did you even know Fair Game was in theaters right now? Yeah, maybe give it a look.
However, here it is, the trailer for Source Code, the new film from Jones starring Jake Gyllenhaal as a US soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown commuter and is forced to live and relive a train bombing until he can find the perpetrator. The film is set for a April 15 release and co-stars Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright.
The trailer comes to us via Apple and you can check it out directly below.

I gotta admit that looks pretty good
I liked it better when it was called 'Deja Vu' and starred a better actor called Denzel.
only Deja Vu kinda stunk…
@Jeremy – ain't that the truth.
He went from pretty good indie cred to something that looks REALLY "Post-Inception Hollywood" (I'm coining that term now!) Never the less it looks pretty intriguing!
Wow that looks great.
Trailer is not bad – even if it gives me a whiff of being another variation (but probably more complicated) on the 'repeating cycle' story.
Like that old episode of Trek where the Enterprise keeps getting destroyed, or the X-Files ep where the bank keeps blowing up.
That's just the feel I get off the trailer. But it could be good.
This potentially could be great. Really good trailer, and I'm a big fan of Moon so looking forward to this.
While the trailer isn't the knockout I kinda hoped it would be I still have faith since Duncan Jones is a great director and the script is amazing. We'll see…
It's GROUNDHOG DAY meets 12 MONKEYS by way of DEJA VU.
Holy SHit! That looks EPIC! I've never seen Moon, but NOW, I want to.
There's some familiar stuff here, but it actually looks really good. I loved "Moon" and I was hoping that Duncan would stick to cool sci-fi stuff for a while and this is definitely in that direction. I find most of Gyllenhall's work to be pretty mediocre, but with a solid supporting cast and a creative director on board I'm hopeful.
I actually like it, and I trust Duncan Jones. So i'll wait till I see it before making a judgment.
"Can Jones impress the masses again?" Umm, how much did 'Moon' gross, again?
I'd imagine Brad was referring to the near-universal critical acclaim and terrific word-of-mouth it now has, rather than its gross (which was just north of $5 mil, smartass)
Well said. I absolutely adored "Moon." It was an excellent, excellent movie. Now if this one can be just as good, I'll be very pleased. Fingers crossed.
If box-office numbers indicated quality, then maybe Taylor Lautner would not have to rely on his abs to get work.
So right about the marketing for Fair Game. You'd think a Doug Liman flick would get a little push.
actually look good
Looks a lot like Deja Vu (i like that movie very much) so I have my doubts, but lets hope Duncan Jones can make this a good film because from what I've heard people say about Moon, I know he can.
There's no point pretending that we don't all like this.
This looks like a good 'ol popcorn fest!
so basically this movie is the white version of "Deja Vu"
