Trailer for Clooney's 'Men Who Stare at Goats'
Tap into your inner Jedi warrior
The trailer for Grant Heslov's The Men Who Stare at Goats has debuted prior to the film's upcoming unveiling at the Toronto and Venice Film Festivals leading to its November 6 theatrical debut.
Starring George Clooney and Ewan McGregor, and based on the book by the Guardian columnist Jon Ronson, the film centers on Bob Wilton (McGregor), a desperate reporter who stumbles upon the story of a lifetime when he meets Lyn Cassady (Clooney), who claims to be a former secret U.S. military psychic soldier who was re¬activated post-9/11. The film follows the two men as they travel through Iraq and offers glimpses into the supposedly real secret Army unit tasked with creating soldiers with paranormal powers.
Co-starring Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges, both of which look great in this trailer, this one looks like it would be a great double-billing with Steven Soderbergh's upcoming The Informant!.
Give the trailer a watch below or click here to watch it in HD at Apple. I also have one image from the film, which you can check out right here.

The casting looks great. This could be good fun.
Not a great trailer but I feel like this one was always going to be tough to market. I hope that terrible voice over narration isn't in the movie.
What do you think? All the jokes in the trailer? Well balanced or off balance?
Someone in makeup should have realized that George Clooney looks like Adolf youknowwho in that mustache. And for some reason, Jeff Bridges is an army officer with a ponytail. Getting the off balance vibe.
Damn, that was a good trailer! I may actually want to see this now!
Though I have to say, I think the title is a bit of a mistake. It certainly catches the eye, but in more of a: "WTF title is that?" than "Supersextastic title alert! I've gotta watch it now!"
i gotta say I love a funny Clooney
LOOKS HILARIOUS!
