Trailer and First Look Pics at SXSW Testicular Comedy 'Barry Munday'
Waking up the hospital sans testicles has got to be a rough day
I won't be attending the South-by-Southwest Film Festival this year, but I am finally looking into checking out a couple of the major film festivals this year for the first time. No matter, that's off the topic. What's on topic is Barry Munday, a new comedy that will be premiering at SXSW starring Patrick Wilson, Judy Greer, Chloe Sevigny, Malcolm McDowell, Cybill Shepard and Billy Dee Williams. The film will be screening Saturday, March 13 and doesn't have a distributor yet, which is what it will obviously be on the look out for.
The film centers on Barry Munday (Wilson), a suburban wanna-be ladies man who wakes up in the hospital after being attacked in a movie theater, only to realize that he is missing one of his most prized possessions… his testicles. To make matters worse, Barry learns he's facing a paternity lawsuit filed by a woman he can't remember having sex with.

I'm liking it not the best trailer but verry funny
something new from wilson
Hm..this looks kinda funny actually. I may have to check it out if it comes my way
For some reason, when I saw the entry on imdb (I'm a big fan of Patrick Wilson), I thought it was a drama. But apparently it's a comedy… and it looks hilarious! Ballsy, if you will.
I can't see it being a hit with the public, though. Most guys would absolutely cringe at the premise and like as not pay $10 NOT to see it, no matter how good a movie it is.
lol I didn't know Patrick Wilson was funny! This looks really good.

Didn't this happen in the Tom Seleck vehicle "Folks!"?
Wilson must be going through Hard Candy withdrawal lol. Looks funny.
