And the trailers keep rolling in, this time a second theatrical trailer for the upcoming remake Total Recall, directed by Len Wiseman and starring Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston and Kate Beckinsale. The film is set to hit theaters on August 3 and with this new trailer you get a hint of the three-breasted woman everyone remembers from the Arnold Schwarzenegger version, but it's my understanding this will be rated PG-13 so I don't know just how much we'll be seeing beyond what you see here, but I guess that's something.

The film is based on the short story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick and in it Farrell plays Douglas Quaid (Farrell), a factory worker who, for a bit of a diversion, has real memories of life as a super-spy implanted in his mind, but when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police — controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Cranston), the leader of the free world — Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen.

Check out the latest trailer directly below and I recently uploaded some new photos from the film to the site, which you can find right here.

I have to say that looks entertaining...nothin special, no classic but might be just an old-fashioned good time on the big screen...and does seem to be ambitious in terms of scope and landscape which is crucial for a sci-fi tentpole....might just give it a look....

I don't know... if I didn't recognize the scenes from the original, it wouldn't have done much for me personally. It has the feel of the 200th Bourne sequel, way in the future.

See you at the part Ricther!

Wow, through the first half of that trailer it keeps damn close to the original. It has a totally different visual aesthetic, but beat-for-beat recreates scenes from the original.

Just a question though, did they remove Mars from the story? I know Hollywood is convinced than the merest hint of Mars is box office poison right now.

This is a much better trailer than the first trailer. This looks exciting.

I'm totally seeing this. Looks like the Underworld people made this.
