TOP TEN: Brad's Favorite Movies from the '80s

Classic film fans won't agree with this list
| Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back |
This is the one ranking that is impossible to avoid. You knew it was coming. I knew it was going to be here, and here it is. Empire Strikes Back is easily the best film of the entire Star Wars franchise and if the prequels had even a taste of what this film had perhaps they wouldn't be looked at with such disdain. This movie had everything, not to mention the ultimate reveal… "Luke, I am your Father."

Little Mermaid!
At the risk of sounding like a snob, I'll say that it was all about Stranger Than Paradise, Down By Law, and Blue Velvet. Stranger Than Paradise and Down By Law are everything that comedies should be (to me, anyways), and I really love the way that Stranger Than Paradise is all about being young and bored. Blue Velvet was awesome, because it's one of the most bizarrely perverted films I've ever seen. I will admit that I'm partial to anything that captures a dark spirit of the suburbs.
THE MOVIE (LEGEND) WITH "TOM CRUISE". FIRESTARTER WITH DREW BARRYMORE, AND THE NEVERENDING STORY AS WELL. GOTTA LOVE THE 80'S.
