TOP TEN: Best Movies Mid-Way Through 2007

Not a lot to love, but I managed to find ten

Well, half of 2007 is behind us and while movies like Spider-Man 3, Transformers and Evan Almighty boasted big dollars and multi-million dollar ad campaigns the big flicks fell way short of expectations leaving us all wanting much more from the second half of the year.

Already in the second half we have a decent showing from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and films such as The Bourne Ultimatum, Stardust, 2 Days in Paris, Shoot 'Em Up, 3:10 to Yuma, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, American Gangster, Atonement and The Golden Compass to look forward to. However, while the first half of the year looked promising as well, it was anything but.

Let's take a look at the best films of the first six months of 2007 from my perspective and then at the end let's hear what you have to say.
