Too Sexy! 34 New Gorgeous Looks at 'Nine' Plus a New Trailer

Yesterday Apple debuted a third trailer for the December 18 release of Nine, which you can watch just to the right or in high definition right here, but even more importantly RopeofSilicon has just scored 34 new brand spanking new images from the musical adaptation of Federico Fellini's 8 1/2 and you simply don't want to deny yourself the pleasure of perusing these beauties.
I am finally seeing this film next Tuesday and have done my best to avoid any advance word and have done well so far. Directed by Rob Marshall (Chicago), Nine is described as a vibrant and provocative musical following the life of world famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he reaches a creative and personal crisis of epic proportion, while balancing the numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren). The original 1982 Broadway production of "Nine" was based on the Fellini film with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, won five Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Hah. Bob Adriano from In the Loop. The presence of In the Loop alumni from now on will make any film 10x more awesome by their very presence.
But no, this is genuinely beginning to look quite good. Looks like it has all the chutzpah that made Chicago… tolerable.
The cinematography, Marion Cotilliard, the fact that it's about a director and me being part Italian have all come together to get me excited about this film now.
Wow. That blew me away, and it should have.
I just can't wait. There's a personal thing too. My plans of Christmas in Italy have been snubbed. But, instead, I will be seeing this on Christmas Day. It's fate!

Fergie is singing Be Italain in the trailer, so anyone thinking she is not good enough for the role is off base. IMO Kate Hudson is the weak link. The song was written for her and is not really fitting. She also is just doing a redo of her mom's laugh in dance. Fergie belts out her role perfectly!

@Ian: Not at all! After seeing her in this trailer, I am more compelled to see this movie and track down some of her other films. She truly is gorgeous!
I'm with whoever thinks that Fergie is going to be amazing in this movie… she looks the part… and the song be italian has a amazing "sound" to it… marion is STUNNING and Nicole looks good too… you cannot ever make penolpe look ugly… it CANT be done. and i agree i Kate Hudson might be the only weak link… i frankly cant stand her… really chuffed for this movie…
