Thurman, Driver and Edwards Tapped for New Comedy

Oh jeez, the endless drivel that continues to get made is madening. On top of shit thrillers such as 88 Minutes we continue to get half-assed comedies. Uma Thurman, Minnie Driver and Anthony Edwards have signed their careers away to star in Motherhood for writer/director Katherine Dieckmann (Diggers).
The film is apparently a day in the life of a mother of two (Thurman) prepping for her daughter’s sixth birthday party as a myriad urban challenges confront her.
I know I am not the "target" audience for this movie, but I can enjoy a family comedy just as much as the next person. However, doesn't anyone learn from films such as Yours, Mine and Ours? Especially when these things are "independent" efforts. When a big studio doesn't want to get behind your cheap laffer that should read as a sign. I can't wait to see the name "Killer Films" pop up in front of this flick. "Killer Films presents Motherhood." Yeah, that reads just about right as the audience collectively hangs themselves.
