Thornton May Be Eyeing 'Eagle'
New rumor from down under
Moviehole is saying they have heard that Billy Bob Thornton is set to star alongside Shia LaBeouf in D.J. Caruso's Eagle Eye, which is expected to head into production soon for a 2008 release from Paramount Pictures.
Rosario Dawnson and Michelle Monaghan also star in the picture which revolves around a young man (LaBeouf) and a single mother (Monaghan) who are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination.
Unfortunately Moviehole doesn't cite a source or know exactly what role Thornton will be taking on so we will have to look at this as a rumor for now, but if he has indeed been cast we should know soon.
