This 'Pathology' Movie Looks Awful!
MGM had no chance of selling this...
The Movie Blog appears to be the official PR firm for Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's medical horror Pathology as they have championed the flick since the git-go. I have no problem with this – different strokes – but I cannot imagine how this film could be any good whatsoever. MGM was the original distributer, but they bumped the release and TMB reports Neveldine and Taylor have found a new, and unnamed, distributer and the film is now set for an April 18th release.
John over at TMB is convinced the film is going to be good, and I will say one thing about John, in the past he has proven to be someone that doesn't pander. So, it will be interesting to see what he ultimately thinks of this flick or if he will review it at all.
Along with the new distribution and the release date they also bring us a new trailer, and personally it just furthers my opinion that this one is going to suck. Basically it appears it is getting in on the over-the-top horror genre a bit too late, which is what I believe to be the real reason for the release date being pushed back. The film stars "Heroes" star Milo Ventimigila, Michael Weston, Lauren Lee Smith, Alyssa Milano and Johnny Whitworth and is directed by Marc Schoelermann.
Here's the new trailer, sans distributer, and sans quality if you ask me. It's basically just a 30 second clip with an f-bomb thrown in the mix. Thoughts? Anyone? Are you interested in this one?

Not the most convincing corpses I've ever seen. Also, what's the plot here? If it's 90 minutes of "corpse puppetry" then no thanks. I do get the inkling that with the name "Pathology" there will be many tools flying around in yet another torture/dismemberment porno masquerading as horror. Again, no thanks.
Ha, I love there is a trailer in this article and yet you have to ask what it's about. I considered adding the plot, but just thought it would be further proof to how bad the trailer is… Click here for an explanation of the flick, it's too stupid to explain.
Yikes, that looks awful. However, since it's from the makers of the surprisingly brilliant Crank–one of the great balls out assaults on Political Correctness–I'll hold judgement until I see the movie.
