The Intouchables
I'm not sure you need to buy it, but I would say you should most definitely see it.
The Intouchables is a great movie, that for a while almost made my
top ten list of 2012. The film is based on a true story of a wealthy quadriplegic (François Cluzet) who hires a young man from the projects (Omar Sy) to be his caretaker. Their relationship becomes the center of the story and it's extraordinarily well done. It's also France's highest grossing film of all-time, pulling in over $420 million worldwide.

Wreck-It Ralph
If you want to get into "should haves",
Wreck-It Ralph probably should have won the Best Animated Oscar over
Brave, but that's just my opinion and in the end it doesn't really matter, it doesn't change the quality of the film and this is a rather good film. I can't say I would consider it a must buy, however, as last year's crop of animated films (at least the studio films) weren't all that great. The best was a film called
The Rabbi's Cat, but that's another conversation.

Schindler's List (20th Anniversary)
I received this Blu-ray and I have to admit, I just haven't found the want to put it in the player.
Schindler's List is a great film, but it's hardly one I want to watch over and over again, so owning it doesn't seem like much of a necessity, though I probably should have at least watched a few minutes to determine the high-definition quality. However, judging by the screen captures at
DVD Beaver, it looks like an impressive transfer.

The Bay
Saw this movie in Toronto and was not a fan. You can read my full review
right here.

Lay the Favorite
Directed by
Stephen Frears and starring Rebecca Hall, Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Vince Vaughn and this one was not received well most everywhere it went. I never actually ended up seeing it, largely because no one really had anything good to say about it.

Red Dawn
Now this was one of the
worst films of 2012. You can click that link to see what other films join it on that list or
here for my theatrical review.

Playing for Keeps
Sorry, didn't see this one either.

EVEN MORE
JUST ADDED RELEASE DATES
BLU-RAY
DVD
I'm gonna buy Wreck-It Ralph. Will rent The Intouchables and Schindler's List (yes never seen) from Netflix.
Red Dawn all the way, am I right????
But seriously. I'll rent The Intouchables, and probably buy Schinlder's List just because I admire it so much. It will be a nice addition to my collection.
Surprised to see Red Dawn ads on your site Brad.
Is it me or has the Terminator Anthology been on these "Just Added" lists more than once...
Haha - they keep re-releasing it!
When it first came out, it was a Best Buy Exclusive set.
For me, Wreck-It Ralph and Schindler's List are must buys once. And I will rent The Intouchables this week.
Buying Wreck-It Ralph today, it's not just my favorite animated movie along with Frankenweenie (liked both equally) but it's also in my top 5 favorite movies of last year. You're not alone Brad, Wreck-It Ralph should have won Best Animated Feature or Frankenweenie, either way. I enjoyed Brave but it was definitely not one of Pixar's strongest efforts. In fact, I liked Madagascar 3 more than Brave.
*Not just my favorite animated movie LAST YEAR.
I mean, I'll rent Red Dawn just because I hear it is so terrible.
Picked up Wreck-It Ralph for pretty cheap, but I'm going to hold off on The Intouchables and Schindler's List until the price drops a little.
I would like to pick up Schindler's List once the price drops a bit.
