'Inception' and 'Cronos' start the week off right

Inception
	The week's obvious top choice for purchase is Christopher Nolan's latest crowd-pleaser. I actually have the "Extraction Mode" from the Blu-ray release playing as I write this up, but haven't yet had a chance to take a look at the second disc. However, I am particularly interested in the 44-minute long "Dreams: Cinema of the Subconscious" featurette on the second disc. This feature explores dream research and I would think in conjunction with the film would be rather intriguing. I can tell you the image is exceptional and the DTS-HD soundtrack is equally up to task and should prove impressive on the right systems. If there's a 2010 film made for Blu-ray it's this one. I should have a full review soon.

Cronos (Criterion Collection)
	This one I am almost done with my review already. I had never seen this first feature from Guillermo del Toro, and it delivers as promised. Cronos is for fans of del Toro's work from The Devil's Backbone to Pan's Labyrinth. And if what I'm talking about intrigues you, don't even wait for my review, buy it now.

Shrek Forever After
	There are several buying options for this one (as you can see to the left), and this film is right behind Inception as the week's top seller at Amazon. This is to be expected, of course, but I was shocked to see the Blu-ray box set selling higher than the individual Blu-ray on its own. Then I saw the box set containing all four Shrek films is priced at $39.99, not bad for four Blu-rays if Shrek is your thing. Hit the Buy Now button below if you're interested.

Videodrome (Criterion Collection)
	I watched this one over the weekend and it was only the second time I'd seen it. Personally I'm not a huge fan, but Cronenberg's work certainly attracts its admirers and Criterion's Blu-ray presentation is flawless and comes with some nice supplements. I took a peek at the special features really quick and when I write my full review, on top of the effects features, there's an interesting conversation regarding the MPAA between Cronenberg, John Carpenter, John Landis, and Mick Garris from a 1982 interview I hope to fit into the conversation.

Restrepo
	I have this screener, but wasn't able to get to it this weekend. Bill, however, already did a nice write-up on it that certainly makes for an excellent conversation piece after you watch it.
