Does the bad buzz hurt your desire to see this one?
APOLOGIES: Many have mentioned this to me via email already and one in the comments. I guess I should have watched the entire thing to see that at the end this trailer still has the old date. This is the old trailer. Watch if you like, but it is not new. Sorry.
Now I know why Variety head honcho Peter Bart was saying he heard Valkyrie was good, they are getting in the exclusive video game and have now debuted the new trailer for the Tom Cruise starrer.
Bad buzz, reshoots, whatever, I am still intrigued by this movie and want it to be good. The only thing I wish was that they would have skipped casting A-list actors and gone a bit more authentic so we didn't have American, British and every other kind of accent in place considering these guys are supposed to be Germans.
Nevertheless, check out the full trailer below and weigh in with your thoughts should you haven any. Valkyrie hits theaters February 13, 2009.

Isn't this the same trailer from last year? I couldn't find anything different. i.e it still looks bad.
I think itll be a decent thriller… but Im bugged by the accents, or lack thereof, in some cases. Seriously, accent coaches…cant be THAT hard for professional actors…

Scariest thing I ever saw, why? The subject matter and that being delivered by truly competent actors that were right for the job.
Tom, to me, seems better suited for Days of Thunder or Mission Impossible. Not this kind of thing.
I think he's an idiot but still respect some of the work he did like Collateral. I just don't think I can take him seriously in this role.
And that would be such a shame considering what this film is about.
I don't get it…I think this movie looks pretty solid. It may be bad, it may be good. But I don't know how anyone can think it looks bad based on the trailer.
