'The Key' to a Short Film
A short worth a minute (or 20)
I had a short film sent to me the other day entitled The Key. It was a nice change of pace from the summer's big and bloated box-office fare. It's a taut 20 minute suspense style effort about a gal named Miriam who's having a tough time leaving her apartment. I'm not a spoiler type of fellow but this one is worth checking out if you get a chance. The Key has an intriguing storyline and could end up being a nice stepping stone for emerging director Todd Kaufman. Now if I can only make reviewing shorts a regular thing I may have some idea on potential nominees come Oscar season…

I saw this movie at a screening at Fox a few weeks back. It was very good. Should be at some film festivals soon, see it if you can.
Todd Kaufman , director/writer did a great job. James Baron, the EP, is a class act. I hope these two work together again.
My friend worked on the film and had high praise for all involved.
